Qualified in Perugia, Italy, in 2009.  In 2018 he moved to UK and worked since then as an Exotic Vet.  
From July 2024 to September 2025 he was Lecturer in Rabbit, Exotics and Wildlife Medicine and Surgery at The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies in Edinburgh. 
He joined the Team at Lawrie Vets in September 2025 as Senior Exotic Veterinary Surgeon.

He has strong interest and experience in complex surgeries, dentistry and diagnostic imaging (ultrasound, radiography).

Passionate about education and wanting to teach, he obtained the Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education (PgC HE), the Fellowship in Higher Education (FHEA) and the General Practitioner Advanced Certificates in Small Mammals (GPAdvCertSMP) in 2022 and the Certified Aquatic Veterinarian (CertAqV) in 2024. He has lectured for University of Surrey, Preston University and Plumptom college. Routinely attends seminars, lectures and International Conferences. 

He loves hiking with his partner and the 2 dogs, Nero and Boris. He also has a very strange passion for roly-poly!
